Von der abgetragenen Jeansjacke zum extravaganten Glitzerkleid:
Unsere Kleidung ist ein Ausdruck davon, wer wir sind, sein wollen und manchmal sein müssen.
Was sagt diese „zweite Haut“ über uns aus? Dieser Frage gehen die niederländischen Künstler:innen von Zwermers genauso nach wie jener, ob Kleidung eigentlich von Menschen getragen wird oder der Mensch von der Kleidung. Begleitet von einem Violinisten mit Loopstation, dessen Musik von Philip Glass und auch von Volker Bertelmann inspiriert ist, machen sie mit ihren zahlreichen Kleidungsstücken deutlich, wie fließend unsere Identität sein kann und stellen den bunten und vielseitigen Menschen in den Mittelpunkt.

From the worn denim jacket to the extravagant glitter dress:
our clothes are an expression of who we are, want to be and sometimes have to be.
What does this "second skin" say about us?
The Dutch artists of Zwermers explore this question as well as the question of whether clothes are actually worn by people or people are worn by clothes. Accompanied by a violinist with a loop station, whose music is inspired by Philip Glass and also by Volker Bertelmann, they make clear with their numerous pieces of clothing how fluid our identity can be and place the colourful and versatile human being at the centre.
