Le G. Bistaki ist ein Kollektiv von Jongleuren und Tänzern aus Toulouse, die ihre Arbeiten stets in einen Dialog mit der Umgebung setzen. Ihre Stücke faszinieren durch die Kunst, fantastische Welten zu erschaffen, die außerhalb unserer Vorstellungskraft von Raum und Zeit existieren.
Mit Tancarville – was im Französischen umgangssprachlich Wäscheständer bedeutet – setzt die Gruppe ihre Erkundung der Welt der Körper, Objekte und Spielräume fort. Grundlage ist ein so alltäglicher Gegenstand wie das weiße Laken, ein Objekt mit vielfältigen Verwendungsmöglichkeiten und Qualitäten, aber auch einer starken Symbolik. Es zeugt von unserem kollektiven Gedächtnis und unseren intimen Ritualen in einer traumhaften Reise durch die Zivilisationen und die Zeit. Mit Tancarville zeichnet Le G. Bistaki in einer Verflechtung von poetischen und alltäglichen Szenen ein zeitloses Fresko aus Absurdität und Humor.

Le G. Bistaki is a collective of jugglers and dancers from Toulouse whose work is always in dialogue with the surrounding space. Their pieces captivate through the art of creating fantastical worlds that exist beyond our usual sense of time and space.
With Tancarville – a colloquial French word for a clothes drying rack – the group continues its exploration of bodies, objects, and spaces for play. The starting point is a simple everyday item: the white sheet. Full of symbolic meaning, it offers multiple uses, textures, and associations. In a dreamlike journey through civilizations and time, it evokes our collective memory and intimate rituals. In a tapestry of poetic and everyday scenes, Tancarville becomes a timeless fresco woven with absurdity and humor.
