Die 34. Biennale von São Paulo wird von Jacopo Crivelli Visconti zusammen mit Paulo Miyada, Carla Zaccagnini, Francesco Stocchi und Ruth Estévez kuratiert. Das kuratorische Team schlägt ein Ausstellungskonzept vor, das sich dem Thema „Beziehung“ verschreibt und unter anderem von Denkern wie Édouard Glissant (1928-2011) oder Eduardo Viveiros de Castro (* 1951) inspiriert ist. Die 34. Biennale proklamiert, dass es notwendig ist, enge und monolithische Standpunkte aufzugeben, um sich einer Vielzahl möglicher Beziehungen, die sich ständig weiterentwickeln und verändern zu öffnen.

The 34th Bienal de São Paulo will be curated by Jacopo Crivelli Visconti, together with Paulo Miyada, Carla Zaccagnini, Francesco Stocchi and Ruth Estévez. The curatorial team project proposes to structure the exhibition based on the concept of “relation”, freely inspired by the reflections of thinkers such as Édouard Glissant (1928-2011) and Eduardo Viveiros de Castro (b. 1951). The 34th Bienal states that it is necessary to abandon narrow and monolithic viewpoints to become open to a multiplicity of possible relations under constant evolution.
